Perfect Landing Page: Best Practices for Conversions

A well-crafted landing page for your passport can be the difference between converting a potential customer or losing them forever. We'll take a closer look at what makes an ideal landing page, from the key elements to the design and messaging that will help drive conversions. Whether you're launching a new product, promoting a special offer, or simply looking to improve your website's performance, we’ll cover all the basics to craft a stellar landing page that drives results.

We have a formula that has proven to work best here at Bandwango. First and foremost, we recommend always placing your product card near the top of your landing page. This should be the first thing your visitors lay eyes on. After all, it is how those visitors turn into customers. During your pass build, Bandwango will send you codes to integrate your product cards. You can read all about integration in this blog post for more information on how that works!

Near the product card, it is important to let your visitors know what your passport is all about. We recommend including a short description either right above, next to, or below your product card. It doesn’t have to be a lot of information, just the basics of what the passport is for and what type of pass it is. Is it the pass gamified where passholders earn points and redeem prizes? Is it a paid tasting pass for wineries in your area? A brief engaging description is a good way to have your visitors decide if your pass is right for them!

The “How it Works” module is another very important aspect of your landing page. This shows your potential customers just how simple a Bandwango passport is to use. The module is included in the codes that Bandwango creates for you and is sent with the product card codes, unique to your type of passport. Having this below your product card and description makes a good flow to your landing page.

A venue list could be a good option to include on your landing page. Some clients have chosen to create their own list by using a map to showcase where each of their venues is located. Others use a simple list with a few details about what the venues are offering. While Bandwango no longer creates venue lists for each pass, this allows you the freedom to update and change the list whenever necessary! Clients are no longer dependent on Bandwango to make changes and can be as creative as they like with the venue list if chosen to include one.

Last but most certainly not least, it is a great idea to include links to blogs, earned media, and even social posts created by your users, otherwise known as user-generated content (UGC). Pulling these into your landing page can show your visitors that current passholders are loving your pass and encourage them to be a part of the buzz! Several of our customers do this fabulously and the images below are great examples of how including UGC can transform your landing page.

To wrap things up, an eye-catching landing page is a game-changer in the world of Bandwango passports. It's your chance to show potential customers what you're all about and persuade them to take the next step. So, what's the secret sauce to creating an ideal landing page? Well, you've got to nail the basics - a clear product card, killer messaging, and eye-catching design. With these elements in place, your landing page will be a conversion machine. Don't be shy, give it a shot! Optimize your landing pages with these best practices and watch your passport soar.
